Letter sent to Douglas McKie from D G Stewart, May 1916. Discusses his desire to enlist in the Army and the patriotic endeavours of British expatriates in Brazil. From a collection of personal correspondence and notes of Douglas Hamlin McKie, Artists' Rifles and Northumberland Fusiliers who was killed at the Battle of Arras, 1917. Sent during 1916. Associated with World War One (1914-1918).
