Manuscript letter from an unknown woman in Thetford, Norfolk, possibly a Miss Roberts, to Lt William Lee, later Lieutenant Colonel, 16th (or The Queen’s) Regiment of (Light) Dragoons, at Hartwell, Aylesbury, 21 Aug 1792. The letter asks why she has not heard from him and if he was withdrawn his affections. From a collection of 112 letters and envelopes addressed to Lt Col William Lee, 5th Baronet, 16th (or The Queen’s) Regiment of (Light) Dragoons, 1749-1810.
