Text: The wages of 10,000 Landmen besides their victualling and of the attendance on the trayne of Artillery 23 Apr 1625. One of two folios giving details of the various rates of pay enjoyed in the army. One of 131 folios on the organisation and finance of the expeditions to Calais, Germany, the Low Countries, Ireland and St Vincent, the condition of the militia and French officers’ military duties, 1400-1643. From a manuscript book consisting of 174 folios of military information compiled during the early seventeenth century.
