Describes his travel back to India across the Red Seas to a transit camp, 40 miles outside Bombay. From a collection of 89 letters from Capt John Workman, 5th Marahatta Anti Tank Regiment, 16th Indian Reserve Anti tank Regiment and the 5th Indian Field Regiment, in India, Burma and Singapore, 1943-1947.
