Description
Manuscript letter from Maj George H S Willis, 77th East Middlesex Regiment, to his mother, 20 Apr 1855. Letter reports the death of Egerton and Capt Audley Lempriere in the attack on the rifle pit the night before. The 77th were not well supported by other regiments he claims.
