Pair of anklets, other ranks’, Calcutta Scottish Volunteers, worn by Pte S Halstead, 1916 (c). White duck lined with white khaki drill. Stiffening down centre back and on buttonhole side of vent. Self fabric foot straps sewn to each side lower edge. Eight white bone buttons at vent with corresponding buttonholes.
