Manuscript letter, dated 3 Feb 1902. Unsigned but written by Sgt J Robinson, 4th Mounted Infantry to the wife of his friend Cpl Harry Thurston. He gives the circumstances of Thurston’s death and funeral in South Africa, with his condolences. Associated with the Boer War (1899-1902).
