Description
Other ranks’ shoulder titles, Unidentified, believed to have been worn by Sgt L Greig, 1900 (c). Brass. The letter ‘D’ mounted upon a back plate and the numeral ‘2’ mounted upon a square back plate. Each title has a loop fitting upon the reverse through which passes a split pin. Sgt L Greig was a clerk who had seen previous service with the 7th Middlesex (London Scottish) Rifle Volunteers. He enrolled in the City Imperial Volunteers in December 1899.
