Description
Photograph showing an unidentified uniformed pilot wearing a peaked Royal Air Force cap and thigh boots, standing posed in front of orchard trees in blossom, 1918. The officer places his right hand on his hip and makes a beckoning gesture with his left hand. From an album containing 96 photographs relating to Lt William Charles Carter who served in the Artists’ Rifles The London Regiment from 1913 and 13 Sqn Royal Flying Corps 1917-1918.
