4 June 1856, Claims by 3 men of the 30th Regt to be investigated. One of 26 letters similar to, and perhaps abstracted from another bundle of letters from the Codrington Papers, and one to the Savings Account of the 1st Bn Rifle Brigade (May-June 1856). From the papers of Gen Sir William John Codrington (1804-1884), Commander in Chief during the Crimean War (1854-1856), 1855-1856.
