Manuscript letter dated ‘No. 13, Cartaxo, 15th February 1811’, from Captain Percival to his Aunt, Mrs Charles Drummond. 4 pages. 

In this letter Percival relates a skirmish with French pickets, and that he had dined twice at the Duke of Wellington’s residence in the past week, where he conversed with a captured French officer.
