Colour transparency collected by Mr J W Forsaith to illustrate a lecture ‘Miss Florence Nightingale and her legendary lamp’. Associated with Claydon House, Buckinghamshire, the ancestoral home of he Verneys, Parthenope Nightingale married Sir Harry Verney, 1st Baron. Associated with the Crimean War (1854-1856).
