Description
Sash or cummerbund, Honourable East India Company, possibly 11th Bengal Cavalry, worn by Sgn John Henry Sylvester, Bombay Medical Service, 1870 (c). Blue cotton. Edges embroidered with pink, scarlet, blue, yellow, black, white, green in South Asiatic style. Tails similarly embroidered to the depth of approximately 11.5 inches.
