Letter sent to Helen McKie from the editor of ‘The Bystander’, April 1917. Expresses his sorrow for the death of Douglas McKie and allows her a later deadline for completing her illustrations. From a collection of personal correspondence and notes relating to the death of Douglas Hamlin McKie, Artists' Rifles and Northumberland Fusiliers who was killed at the Battle of Arras, 1917. Sent during 1917-1918. Associated with World War One, Western Front (1914-1918).
