British War Medal of Lieutenant-General Sir Harold Rawdon Briggs, 1914-1920 (c) Silver medal bearing the left facing un crowned head of George V with GEORGIVS V BRITT: OMN: REX ET IND: IMP: around on the obverse, Right facing naked figure of St George on horse back trampling a Prussian shield and a skull and crossbones with ocean waves behind, with 1914 to the top left edge and 1918 to the right side edge. Rim impressed with Briggs’ rank and name. Suspended using a straight bar from an orange watered silk ribbon with equal stripes of blue, black and white to each edge.
