Dunfermline Volunteers button, 1803-1808 Gilt, one-piece, slightly convex, open back. A thistle wreath divided at the top by a crown, in the centre of the wreath the letters D V. No back mark. Collection of buttons associated with British Napoleonic Wars, Veterans, Garrisons, Fencibles and Volunteers. From the collection of Maj H G Parkyn.
