Letter from Edmund Thomas to James Rowe, nd. Addressed, 'Dear Sir'. James Rowe was storekeeper at the Commissariat at Scutari during the Crimean War (1854-1856). Edmund Thomas was one of Rowe's colleagues at the Tower of London who remained behind when Rowe went to the Crimea.
