Description
Ms note relating the the death and burial of Rev John Girdlestone within the walls of Thorney Abbey, where he was Incumbent Curate for over 50 years. The Rev died in 1821, and the remains of his widow Rebecca were buried with him in 1824. From a collection of papers associated with Capt James Girdlestone.
