One of two letters written to his family by CQMS Harry Hopwood, 6th Bn Manchester Regiment, 1915. Describes his convalescence from diarrhoea and fever in the aftermath of Gallipoli. Associated with World War One, Gallipoli (1915-1916). Many of the letters are represented only by TS transcripts, whilst in other cases the originals survive with and without transcripts.
