Notebook containing an intermittent diary kept by Pte Robert Powis, 1/7th Queen’s Royal Regiment between 19 Jun 1942 when he left Freetown by ship to his arrival in North Africa on 21 Jul 1942 and subsequent events up to the fall of Tunisia, the last entry being 21 Jun 1943, when he was inspected by the King and Montgomery in Tunis. From a collection of papers, maps and ephemera relating to the service of Pte Robert Powis with the 1/7th Queens Royal Regiment, 131 Lorried Infantry Brigade, 7th Armoured Division, 1942-1945.
