Letter sent by William Bryceland to his mother Mrs J Bryceland, 2 May 1940. The letter speaks of how they have been so busy that he has not been able to write earlier, but that they will soon be on leave and Bryceland will be coming home, that the post has been erratic, it is now summer in France, and that his mother should go and see someone about her leg.
