Collins' Royal Indian Diary for 1939. Used by Lt Gen Bradfield. In November Bradfield resigned from the Indian Medical Service and was appointed Medical Adviser to the Secretary of State for India, arriving in London on 19 Oct 1939. The diary includes much social comment and details of the international situation, besides a resumé of his finances for the year.
