Pair of hose tops, other ranks’, Calcutta Scottish Volunteers, worn by Pte S Halstead, 1916 (c). Stocking stitch leg portions with 2 inches hem at upper edge of green and white marled wool. Lower edge of leg piece trimmed with diamond shapes of green and white upon a gren and white marled ground. Ankle welt of 1 x 1 rib in green and white marled wool 3.5/8 inches in width.
