Letter from Capt Richard Vann, Close Support Ammunition Detachment, (CSAD), Joint Force Support (Afghanistan)(JFSp (A)), Camp Bastion, to his parents, Mr John and Mrs Jane Vann, South Witham, Grantham, Lincolnshire (date unknown).
He enquires after his family and mentions that he will soon return to Camp Bastion, which he is looking forward to. At his current position he has mostly been boxing ammunition or arguing with someone about their kits. He also mentions that he hasn’t received any mail lately because it’s being held in Bastion at the moment. He talks about a promotion course that he hopes he will get on.
