Photograph captioned as: ‘The last shoot at Fulbourne, 1905’, showing two women and a man posing for the image at the front of a large house. They are flanked by two men, possibly gamekeepers. The central trio are named as (from left to right): Miss Averil Vivian, Miss K Vivian (possibly her sister?) and Capt George Clement Tryon, Grenadier Guards. Averil Vivian and George Tryon married in 1905 and lived here at Fulborne Manor in Cambridgeshire. Tryon has his shotgun on his shoulder and the two ladies hold sticks. From an album of 99 photographs compiled by or presented to Captain (later Brig-Gen) Ernest Frederick Orby Gascoigne. The album is entitled: ‘Personal album E F O Gascoigne. 1st & 3rd Battalions - 1894-1905’, but covers the period 1892-1905; taken in England and Gibraltar.
