Manuscript letter from Thomas Jones in Bath to Lt Col William Lee, 16th (or The Queen’s) Regiment of (Light) Dragoons at Windsor, 15 Nov 1798. The letter discusses the course of mercury he has taken for his illness and also informs him that he has bought his majority and it will appear in the London Gazette soon. Also discusses the impending possibility of war on the Continent. From a collection of 112 letters and envelopes addressed to Lt Col William Lee, 5th Baronet, 16th (or The Queen’s) Regiment of (Light) Dragoons, 1749-1810. Also includes photocopies of other letters from the same correspondence.
