Ms notes and diary entries of Major William Stephen Raikes Hodson, January 30th to 13th February 1849, covering his roles as Assistant Resident working for Colonel Sir Henry Lawrence, and Lieutenant in the Corps of Guides, including notes about daily travel and negotiations with Maharaja Gulab Singh Jamwal. Associated with the Second Anglo-Sikh War, 1848-1849.
