Photograph of a group of, probably officers, from the 2nd Battalion Grenadier Guards, posing for the image on the steps and verandah of a wooden house, Gibraltar, 1898 (c). Most of them are wearing civilian clothing, although some seem to be in striped cricket blazers. Three dogs sit on the ground in front of them, and another sits with a man sitting in the centre of the image.

From a photograph album of 111 photographs entitled '2nd Battalion 1897-1909', relating to the 2nd Battalion Grenadier Guards in the UK, South Africa and Gibraltar from 1897 to 1909. Mostly group photos and individual portraits.
