Photograph of 10 officers from the 2nd Battalion Grenadier Guards at Buena Vista Barracks, Gibraltar, 1899. They stand near a stone wall which is likely on a high viewpoint. They are wearing blue patrol jackets and light-coloured Foreign Service helmets with a metal spike on the top and regimental cypher on the front. Their swords hang from the slings of their swords belts.
