Photograph of a Trooping the Colour event at Horse Guards Parade, probably including the 2nd Battalion, Grenadier Guards, London, 1903-1909 (c). Long lines of Guardsmen line up in several sections, wearing their scarlet tunics and bearskins caps. The band can be seen to the left of the image, and many of the officers are on horseback. Crowds watch from the perimeter by the building, with many Union Jack flags being flown from windows. From a photograph album of 111 photographs entitled '2nd Battalion 1897-1909', relating to the 2nd Battalion Grenadier Guards in the UK, South Africa and Gibraltar from 1897 to 1909.
