Inventory description: Letter, 20 Dec 1825; sent by Ann Clark and addressed to her husband Asst Sgn Hezekiah Clark, 36th Regiment of Native Infantry, 3rd Brigade, 2nd Division, Field Army; Asst Sgn Clark was serving at the time of the Siege of Bhurtpore, and his wife’s letter makes reference to ‘heathen idolatry’; associated with the Rajah of Bhurtpore, Dorjun Sal, Sir David Ochterlony, Colonel-in-Chief and Lord Amherst, and Bhurtpore (1824-1826) 1826.
