Description
Brooch, 1916 (c). Belonged to Cpl Thomas Gordon, Australian Field Artillery, 1916 (c). Made by an unknown manufacturer, 1916 (c). Copper brooch converted from a regimental hat badge, with chain and pin attached to welded stud-fitting verso. Depicts sun beams around a King's crown surmounting a tri-part scroll inscribed, 'AUSTRALIAN/ COMMONWEALTH/ MILITARY FORCES'. Associated with World War One (1914-1918).
