Manufactured by Bates and Hunt; privately purchased. With handwritten pharmacist's label, 'Foot Powder/ to be applied/ to socks (1)' and handwritten on tins, 'BATES & HUNT/ Foot Powder no.2/ Pharmacists'. Associated with World War One (1914-1918).
