Canvas housewife, 1918 (c)-1950 (c). Belonged to Edwin Walker, Royal Engineers. Privately purchased and different from Army issue in unusual design which rolls up and is secured with a leather strap. Handwritten on underside of flap, 'E.WALKER'. Associated with World War One (1914-1918).
