Seven leaves from the silver leaf tree, nd. Brought from South Africa by the grandmother of Avice Leybourne Pearson, Mariah Pearson. Also relating to other members of the Pearson family, Col R F Pearson, Queen's Own (Royal West Kent Regiment), Lt Gen Sir Charles Pearson, late 3rd (East Kent) Regiment of Foot (The Buffs) and Dr Henry Gogarty, military surgeon. This could be Avice Leybourne Pearson (b 1874), nee Gogarty, who married Robert Frederick Pearson in 1902.
