Brass and enamel brooch, 1910 (c). Circular brooch inscribed, 'BRITISH SAILORS SOCIETY' in red enamel around the edge, in the centre is a blue enamel flag inscribed in gold, 'LADIES GUILD', within a circular blue enamel border inscribed, 'IN SERVICE FOR THE SAILOR'. Associated with Sgt Samuel James Pye, 1st Essex Royal Garrison Artillery Volunteers. Part of a collection of items owned by Sgt Pye.
