Good quality privately purchased kukri, nd. Belonged to either Gen Sir Henry ap Rhys Pryce or his son Brig Meyric ap Rhys Pryce, both served in India, Sir Henry as a General in the Royal Indian Army Service Corps and Meyric in the Royal Welsh Fusiliers and on the Staff. Blade is curved and has a small decoration beside the back edge. It has been sharpened. The grip has been made all in one piece, showing that it is native made, but is broken in two places.
