Sleeping bag cover, 1900 (c). Belonged to Gen Sir Henry ap Rhys Pryce, Royal Indian Army Service Corps. Item is made of green canvas with leather edges, outside or bottom has a large pocket fastened by a buckle, several small loops possibly for carrying pegs and leather loops to secure the cover when it is rolled up. There is a leather strap with a buckle to keep the item rolled up, the strap passes through the leather loops on the bottom.
