Diary of William Leith-Ross (b 1884), 55th Coke’s Rifles (Frontier Force) and 57th Wilde’s Rifles (Frontier Force), 8 Nov 1914 to 28 Dec 1914 and notes for 17 Feb 1915. Contained in Field Message Book (AB 153). Describes his arrival on the Western Front, and service in the trench lines near Festubert. The last entry includes a mention of the fact that he had been granted seven days leave. Associated with World War One, Western Front (1914-1918).
