Description
Draft of a letter from Douglas McKie to a superior at the head office of the London and Brazilian Bank, 1915. Requests permission to terminate his contract of employment to enable him to enlist in the Army. From a collection of personal correspondence and notes of Douglas Hamlin McKie, Artists' Rifles and Northumberland Fusiliers who was killed at the Battle of Arras, 1917. Sent during 1915.
