Description
Pen and ink annotated sketch showing the defences at Almorah (Almora, Uttarakhand) and neighbouring territory at the time of the attack and capture led by Colonel Jasper Nicolls, Quartermaster-General in India, and Colonel Gardiner, April 1815. Associated with the Anglo-Nepalese War [Gurkha (Nepal) War] (1814-1816) and Lt Gen Sir Jasper Nicolls (1778-1849).
