Printed letter of condolence bearing the facsimile signature of 'O Cmdg Troops', 1918 (c). From a collection of papers and a photograph relating to F.2364 L/Cpl Albert Henry Haughton, 23rd Bn, Duke of Cambridge's Own (Middlesex Regiment), 1915-1916. Haughton was one of 32 soldiers lost in the battalion's first very costly action at Flers-Courcellette on 15 Sep 1916. He is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial.
