Description
Paper lantern, 1815 (c). Used by Capt (later Lt Col) William Tyrwhitt-Drake, Royal Regiment of Horse Guards during the Napoleonic Wars. Lantern has a concertina design and folds down when not in use. Inscribed on base in manuscript.
