Overalls from mess dress uniform of Col Andrew Jeffrey Pinion, Royal Regiment of Artillery 1975-1991 (c). Blue and scarlet wool barathea and wool cloth with fly front. Originally tailored for Maj John Henry Reynolds. Blue barathea with band of 2 in wide scarlet cloth down each outside leg. At waist edge, on inside, two white, four-hole, indented centre buttons, 3/4 in diameter on each front. Evidence of there having been two buttons at back centre waist. Waist lined with white nylon. Five black composition, four-hole, indented centre buttons, 1/2 in diameter at fly. Centre front waist fastened with a single metal hook and loop. Blackened leather foot straps, each pair fastened with a blackened metal, single prong, rectangular buckle with rounded edges.
