Large, heavy webbing pack, 1956 (c). Associated with Col Andrew Jeffrey Pinion, Royal Regiment Artillery, 1960 (c)-1990 (c). Possibly used to enable a mule to convey ammunition and supplies. Filled with hay and metal buckles and attachment. Straps are possibly designed to support the pack by fastening around the mule's body.
