Cap comforter, all ranks, khaki wool yarn, 1962 (c). Worn by Col Andrew Jeffrey Pinion, Royal Artillery. Tube, circular knitted in stocking stitch, the ends overlocked together with khaki wool thread. One end is folded at centre into the other end to form a bag, the lower edge turned up to form a brim approx 3.1/2 in in width.
