Large webbing pack, 1937 pattern, 1965 (c). Handwritten on the back of the pack, 'PINION'. Pinion used a modified 1937 pattern pack in preference to the small pack of the 1944 pattern web equipment, which he found to be too small for when he was serving in Malaya between 1963 and 1966. Associated with Col Andrew Jeffrey Pinion, Royal Artillery.
