Khaki webbing satchel, 1944 pattern, 1959 (c). Made by the Mills Equipment Company, 1959 Andrew Pinion was posted to Malaya in June 1963 and was issued 1944 pattern webbing while there. Handwritten in ink on the flap of the satchel, 'PINION', printed in ink on the underside flap of the small webbing pouch, '[broad arrow]/ M.E. Co [?] 1959' [broad arrow]/ CN/ AA 2009'. Associated with the service of Col Pinion.
